"Mike" is a very sweet, affectionate, and gentle boy. He is settling into his foster home and enjoying the opportunity to play with squeaky toys and getting attention from his foster family. He gets along well with other dogs, cats and people.

We don't know anything about "Mike's" history, but we suspect that he was kept in a back yard and received very little attention. "Mike" needs some training. He's desperate for attention and wants to please you, so he is trainable. He is learning "sit", "down" and "stay" commands. He's also learning "house manners" - his foster family is teaching him not to take food from the table or counter tops, and he is learning to let you know when he needs to go outside. He hasn't "watered the house plants" for several days and has slept through the night.

"Mike" loves attention and companionship. He desperately wants someone to be his best friend. If you have a little patience to train him and allot of love to share with him "Mike" would be your best friend.
